When I joined the Signal app to check out how it differs from WhatsApp and other apps, one thing I missed was my contacts on other messaging apps. Not everyone in my contact list was on Signal. But later I started getting notifications whenever someone joins new on Signal. I did not ask for it. I was already annoyed with Telegram’s such notifications. That’s it. You will no longer get such annoying notifications from Signal. We do not need to know if everyone is our contact list joins the Signal app. In case you want to know who all are on the Signal available to chat from your contact, there is a simple workaround for that. From the Signal app home screen, tap the pencil icon at the top right corner. There you will see the list of contacts. All the contacts you see there are Signal users already. You can also search for a specific contact as well. Unlike many other apps, Signal lets you turn off contact joined notifications if they become annoying. You can keep the option enabled to see who all are joining Signal. But it will clog up your chat window and make you feel uncomfortable at times.
